What we do
Hire trades one at a time and you become the project manager — chasing five companies who never speak to each other, each one pointing at the last guy when something goes wrong. That is the problem a general contractor exists to solve. You get one number and one company that owns the result.
This is the one we have spent a career on. Licensed in Maryland, license 02-71291.
Permits pulled and inspections scheduled on everything that needs them.
Everything else
I don’t hand your house to whoever answers the phone. Every tradesperson on a Home Crafters job is someone I’ve chosen myself — people I know, people I’ve vetted, and people I trust. They’re licensed and insured, and they hold their work to the same standard I hold mine.
I set up the schedule and the permits, I check the work, and I stand behind every job no matter whose hands did it. You never have to chase anybody. From the first call to the final walkthrough, you deal with me.
— Eric Flores, Owner
Service plans
Most of what we get called out for in an emergency was visible months earlier. A service plan puts us in your house on a schedule, so the small things get found while they are still small.
$129a year about $11 a month
The only time of year the trouble shows itself. Cold weather finds the weak spots for us.
$229a year about $19 a month
The standard. One visit to open the house up, one to shut it down before the freeze.
$349a year about $29 a month
Everything in Spring & Fall, plus the winter stop while the cold is showing us where the weak spots are.
Billed once a year. Your plan year starts the day you sign up — not in January — and the visits are scheduled around the seasons.
How it works
Every job runs the same way, whether it's a hose bib or a repipe.
A person picks up. You describe the problem, we tell you if it's something we handle and roughly what it takes.
We come out, find the actual cause, and photograph what we find — including anything already wrong before we touched it.
A written price before any work starts. If the job turns out bigger once it's open, you approve the change before we keep going.
Permits closed, inspection passed, photos of the finished work, and the space left cleaner than we found it.
Written estimates, no charge. Send photos first and take 10% off the job.
